Introduction

This species was recently redescribed by White et al. (2013) who treat C. acus and C. niaukang as junior synonyms, thus increasing the distribution to include Australia.

New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia


Extra Distribution Information

West of Dirk Hartog Island (26°05’ S) to west of Montebello Islands (20°25’ S), WA, and from northeast Queensland to off Wooli in NSW (29°58’ S); tropical, Indo-west Pacific, Atlantic.
