Ecological Descriptors
Adult: aquatic, lentic freshwater.
Diagnosis
The closest relative of this species appears to be C. tasmanica from which, however, it is readily distinguished in the male fifth legs by the relatively much longer process from the left protopodite, the terminal process on the left exopodite, and the reduction in the number and length of the terminal spines of the left and right endopodite.
