Introduction
Identification of this species is tentative, based on dredged specimens from Western Australia, not far from the type locality, and from Queensland. The species is also similar to the recently described Cabillus nigrostigmus Kovačić & Bogorodsky, 2013, from the Red Sea and further work is needed to clarify the identity and relationships of these species.
