Diagnosis

Head with large nude vertexal foveae (obscured or absent in males); antennal club formed by apical 3 antennomeres; ventrolateral margins flattened to evenly curved; median gular ridge prominent; fourth segments of maxillary palpi elongate, subtruncate at apices. Pronotum with antebasal foveae subequal in size, lateral antebasal foveae setose. Elytra with only sutural foveae, lacking discal striae. Visible tergite 1 (IV) with setose mediobasal impression and foveae; visible sternite 2 (IV) with deep basolateral sulci.
