Diagnosis

Head with setose vertexal foveae (lacking in males with vertex modified); antennal clubs formed by apical 3 antennomeres; ventrolateral margins of head broadly rounded beneath eyes; distinct median gular carina low. Pronotum with large setose lateral antebasal foveae, lacking median antebasal fovea. Elytra with only discal basal foveae or basal foveae lacking, with elongate discal striae. Visible tergite 1 (IV) lacking basal impression and mediobasal foveae; visible sternite 2 (IV) with indistinct basolateral sulci.
