Diagnosis

Head with nude vertexal foveae in females, in males foveae obscured by vertexal modifications or apparently lacking; antennae with clubs formed by antennomeres XI, antennomeres X elongate and narrowed apically; with lateral postantennal pits; ventrolateral margins carinate, expanded to form small to large setose pits; gular area flat, with faintly defined median gular ridge. Pronotum with lateral antebasal foveae punctiform or lacking. Elytra usually lacking foveae and striae. Visible tergite 1 (IV) lacking basal impression or mediobasal foveae; visible sternite 2 (IV) with shallow basolateral sulci.
