Introduction

This species is distributed iprimarily n the north and north west of the continent although a specimen from Tabbimoble in the NE corner of New South Wales is present in the J.W. Evans collection of AM.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Overall coloration bright yellow. Crown of head, bearing the ocelli, transversely convex and steeply declivous. Lateral muscle impressions on scutellum mottled brown. Length ♂ 6 mm; ♀ 6.8–7 mm (Evans 1977).
