Holotype ANIC ♀ (coll.: A.L. Tonnoir), Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
Introduction
This species is distributed primarily in the SE corner of Australia although there are two records in ASCU from the Carnarvon region of Western Australia. A revision of the genus may find that more than one species is included.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Pale yellowish brown, eyes grey. The vertex is not at right angles to the crown and the ocelli, which are sunk in slight depressions, are visible from above. Pronotum pale yellowish brown. Scutellum pale yellowish brown with two brown median spots and two large triangular brown markings against the anterior margin. Tegmen yellowish hyaline, veins yellow with small raised dots on the actual veins; appendix very narrow. Thorax and abdomen ventral surface and legs pale brownish yellow. Length 6.1 mm, head width 2 mm (Evans 1936).
