Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

 

Diagnosis

Length 1.4 mm. Body with scattered long setae. Head and pronotum with distinct, sparse punctures. Male eyes with about 25 facets; vertex swollen, anterior face of vertex roughened. Second tarsomeres of first and second legs swollen. Metasternum slightly ridged adjacent to metacoxae and prolonged posteriorly for a short distance. Visible sternite 2 (IV) with deep medial longitudinal groove in apical half, extending anteriorly to transverse deep impression at sternite base, dense golden setae diverging laterally in impression to form rounded tufts in lateral portions of impression. Females unknown.
