Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

 

Diagnosis

Length 2.0-2.1 mm. Head and pronotum coarsely and densely punctate, punctures on pronotum larger; head with large vertexal foveae; with median longitudinal carina in basal half of vertex. Pronotum with antebasal spines and lateral marginal spines same size, 2 teeth present on each lateral discal carina. Elytra and abdomen with punctures less distinct; elytra with broad humeral teeth, subhumeral foveae punctiform but distinct. Male eyes with about 30 facets; with mesotrochanters bearing elongate acute spines; metatrochanters with elongate spine on posterior margins truncate at apices. Visible sternites 2-5 (IV-VII) flattened medially, 6 (VIII) broadly impressed. Females unknown.
