Diagnosis

Head rounded-triangular; lacking frontal rostrum; ocular-mandibular carinae distinct. Pronotum with median and lateral longitudinal sulci; with median and lateral antebasal foveae separated by large antebasal spines, prominent acute spines on lateral margins nearly as large as antebasal spines. Elytra with 3 basal foveae, with short discal striae. Abdomen with inner marginal carinae of visible tergite 1 (IV) extending length of tergite, outer carinae extend to basal half; 2-3 (V-VI) with single marginal carina.
