Diagnosis

Head with setose vertexal foveae, with dorsal postantennal pits near lateral margins; apical 2-3 antennomeres forming clubs; ventrolateral margins concave beneath eyes; median gular ridge broad and prominent. Pronotum with antebasal foveae subequal in size, lateral antebasal foveae setose, often connected by faint antebasal sulcus. Elytra with 3-4 basal foveae, with long discal striae. Visible tergite 1 (IV) with setose basal impression between mediobasal foveae; visible sternite 2 (IV) with deep basolateral sulci.
