Introduction
Use of the name for this species is tentative. Material from Singapore to the Philippines differs slightly in coloration and a different name may apply to the Australian material.

Cape York (14°09'S) to Fraser Island, QLD (25°24'S), records from the NT were based on misidentified Amoya gracilis and an undescribed species; tropical, west Pacific.
