Rockhampton, QLD (23º22´S) to Lake Hiawatha, NSW (29º48´S) and Murray-Darling system as far south and west as Swan Reach, SA (34º34´S, 139º36´E); temperate. Possibly distributed in Goulburn and western Sydney, NSW; and northern Gippsland region of Victoria.
