Holmes Reef, Coral Sea (16°27'S, 147°52'E) and off Tweed Heads, NSW (28°12’S, 153°38’E) with juveniles south to Sydney, NSW, likely to be more widespread on the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea; tropical, Coral Sea.
