Genus Parapsilocephala Kröber, 1912

Introduction

Members of Parapsilocephala are typically small like Acraspisa. Parapsilocephala is being revised by Winterton and currently contains seven described and at least 60 undescribed species represented in collections. Unassociated females are difficult to separate from Patanothrix. Parapsilocephala is a common genus throughout Australia, where males are often collected hill-topping on desert sand dunes (Winterton et al. 2001).
