Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

Diagnosis

Length 1.2-1.3 mm. Body lightly granulate. Head broadly convex across vertex; punctiform vertexal foveae close to eyes. Pronotum with base shallowly impressed between prominent basolateral angles, median antebasal fovea faint. Elytra with very prominent humeral angles, with short distinct discal striae, sutural striae faint. Mesepisterna tuberculate near elytra, with small tuft of setae at projecting apices. Visible tergite 1 (IV) longer than remaining tergites combined in dorsal view. Males with antennomeres IX protruding on mesal margins, X with deep transverse impression on mesal margins, margins sharply protruding medially on both sides of impression.
