Extra Distribution Information

Fraser Island and coastal streams south of Mary River, QLD to Georges River, Sydney, NSW (33°51'S), records to the north near Cairns and Bolgu Island, Torres Strait probably translocations and in some cases possibly another species; hemiclones with females having black urogenital papillae are known from further north; original material thought to have been brought to Sydney from QLD by J.D. Ogilby (Ogilby, 1907), but the species is native to Sydney with material from the type locality described and figured in Waite (1904); subtropical

Australian Endemic.
