Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

 

Diagnosis

Length 1.9-2.1 mm. Body smooth, with scattered long setae. Male eyes with about 25 facets; vertex extensively modified, with paired wing-like tufts of setae directed posterolaterally from center of modified area, deeply sulcate from base of setal tufts to eyes, anterior margin of sulcus carinate, with arms of V-shaped sulcus extending anteriorly from center of modified area; eyes with smooth, circular impression at posterodorsal margins. Protrochanters and mesotrochanters with ventral spines. Female eyes with about 15 facets; indistinguishable from females of other species, except one undescribed species is smaller in size.
