Ecological Descriptors

Larvae have been recorded as feeding on a broad range of plants, including Alnus, Betula (Betulaceae), Populus, Salix (Saliaceae), Quercus (Fagaceae), Syzygium (Myrtaceae), Portulaca (Portulacaceae), Nicotiana (Solanaceae), Ipomoea (Convolvulaceae), Camellia (Theaceae), Commelina (Commelinaceae) and Shepherdia canadensis (Elaeagnaceae).
