Introduction

[The family Chlamydophoridae containing the genera Chlamydophrys and Diaphoropodon have been classified as incertae sedis in the Thecofilosea by Adl et al. (2012). They form more or less flexible tests that may be distorted by contraction of the cell; some have attached foreign particles, scales, spines or spicules.]
