Ecological Descriptors

Carnivorous, estuary, marine, neritic, sedentary, zooxanthellate.

 

Diagnosis

Cassiopea with a body 50 mm wide, with shallow concavity at centre of exumbrella; 18-22 rhopalia; lappets very indistinct, four in each octant; mouth-arms cylindrical, 1 1/2 times as long as bell radius, branched tree-like; numerous small, flattened, expanded, leaf-shaped vesicles between mouths; no ribbon-like filaments.
