Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

 

Diagnosis

Length 2.2 mm. Body covered with short, dense, decumbent setae. Maxillary palpi relatively slender, third segments longer than wide, second segments slender. Visible tergite 1 (IV) with discal carinae extending over half tergite length. Male eyes with about 30 facets; clypeus with narrow, transverse incision extending laterally to beneath antennae, small medial shelf of clypeus bearing two tufts of setae, ventral margin of incision broadly expanded, prominently tuberculate in lateral view; antennomeres III less than two-thirds length of II, as thick as II. Protrochanters with small spine on ventral margins; profemora normal in form, not obliquely constricted on dorsal portion of apical half; mesotibiae with curved spine at apices.
