Family Incertae sedis

Introduction

[The genera Sphenoderia and Tracheleuglypha have been classified as incertae sedis in the Euglyphida by Adl et al. (2012). The tests of both genera are circular in cross-section and they are composed of overlapping round-oval scales.The tests of Sphenoderia have a distinct collar of small plates embedded in organic matrix, while the aperture of Tracheleuglypha has a short organic collar without plates.]
