Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

 

Diagnosis

Length 1.8-1.9 mm. Body with scattered, long, curved setae. Head with frontal fovea as large as vertexal foveae; maxillary palpi with fourth segments broad at bases, narrowing in apical halves. Pronotum with antebasal sulcus faint, lacking median antebasal fovea; lateral margins of pronotum smoothly constricted in basal third. Elytra with 3 basal foveae. Male eyes with about 35 facets; antennae modified, antennomeres IV small and transverse, V larger and transverse, VI roundly rectangular and twice as wide as V, VII strongly transverse and narrowly rectangular, VIII small and transversely conical, IX-X larger and transverse. Protrochanteral spines small; spines on mesotrochanters larger. Female eyes with about 35 facets.
