This is the common species of meenoplid in the coastal regions of southeastern Australia. It has been collected from Sydney and the Blue Mountains in New South Wales to Melbourne, Victoria. It is probably present in a number of other locations in both states but, being small and dark, is probably overlooked by most collectors. It has been collected from Exocarpos sp.
