Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Face black, external margins of maxillary plates narrowly yellow and a slender band on head posteriorly, yellow. Crown, pronotum and scutellum bright orange. Tegmen dark hyaline brown; veins brown. Body beneath black; legs black except fore and middle tibiae yellow. Length ♂ 5 mm (Evans 1981).
