Introduction

This endemic monotypic genus is apparently known only from the male holotype. No additional specimens are in the J.W. Evans collection.

Diagnosis

Small yellowish brown, dark brown to black insects. Crown slightly shorter in centre than against eyes. Male genitalia: pygophore narrowing posteriorly, apically rounded and heavily spined, dorsally produced as a finger-like process; aedeagus columnar with a pair of acute apical processes and a strong spine-like projection arising from near the base; Xth segment lacking processes. Female VIIth abdominal sternite helmet-shaped (Evans 1981).
