Diagnosis

Head with vertexal foveae; with setose post-antennal slits at lateral margins; antennal clubs formed by apical 3 antennomeres; ventrolateral margins angularly rounded beneath eyes; with low gular carina. Pronotum with large setose lateral antebasal foveae, smaller nude median antebasal fovea usually present. Elytra with 2 small basal foveae or lacking basal foveae, lacking discal striae. Males with elongate metasternal extension. Visible tergite 1 (IV) with mediobasal foveae and impression; visible sternite 2 (IV) with basolateral sulci.
