Introduction
The following genera belong in the subfamily: Cypretta Vávra, 1895; Neocypridella Hartmann & Puri, 1974; Zonocypretta De Deckker, 1981; Paracypretta Sars, 1924; and Bradycypris Sars, 1924.
Diagnosis
Shell with septa on both valves. Caudal ramus leg-like, but weak, distally with two claws. Seta on posterior end of caudal ramus present, anterior one may missing.
