Taxonomic Decision for Synonymy

Introduction

Holloway (2003) tentatively referred "Iscadia" poliochroa Hampson and Ochrothripa leptochroma Turner to Plotheia on the basis of fascies and female genitalia, but noted that future examination of males of these two species is desirable. They are placed in Plotheia here.
