Rohlfien & Ewald (1979) state a paratype exists in the DEIE from Toaloom [?=Tooloom] NSW (see type series for Neoaratus rosevillensis Hardy). Hardy (1935) stated the type series was rather long, but only mentioned specimens from Roseville, Narrabeen and Brisbane. It is unlikely the DEIE specimen has any type status.
