Generic Combinations

 

Introduction

This name was based on a single female specimen which is now missing except for one forewing and two hindwings. Webb (1983) considered that the size, colour and forewing venation suggested that the species belonged to the genus Zaletta but regarded it as a nomen dubium because of the lack of any association with a male.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Head yellowish green, eyes dark brown, frons flat. Pronotum and scutellum yellowish green. Tegmen hyaline, yellowish green. Thorax and abdomen ventral surface and legs yellowish green; abdomen not nearly reaching posteriorly to the apex of the folded tegmina. Length 4.5 mm, head width 1.2 mm (Evans 1936).
