This species from NW Victoria is only known from a single male and a single female specimens.

All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
This species can be distinguished by its face being entirely shagreen, by its long laterofrontal sutures and by the strongly produced, posterior margin of the female pregenital sternite. The male genitalia are similar to those of [Z.] rubens but differ slightly in the setosity of the subgenital plates and shape of the aedeagus (Webb 1983).
