Introduction
Until recently, the Zoropsidae were unknown from Australia and indeed again their relationships with families and genera in other countries is contentious. They are litter dwelling spiders that resemble small Huntsman spiders.
Diagnosis
In Australia, the Zoropsidae are unique among the araneomophs in the combination of claw tufts, 2 claws, no cribellum, males with a fracture line at the base of the pedal tibiae. Unlike the Zoridae, their eyes are similar in size.
