Diagnosis

Small to medium-sized yellow to brown flies; laterothoracic stripe yellow, restricted to base of wing; yellow abdominal scaling extensive; sternal scales, setae and long hairs white at least on S2-3, S4-7 with yellow to dark reddish brown scales, at most black setae on S4-7. Wing with distinct medial hyaline band. Epandrium basolateral flange subquadrate, longer and broader than half the length of the E base. Medioventral process on EP above AE. Anterior arms of aedeagal sheath short. Female SR round.
