Type data:
Holotype ANIC ♂ (coll.: 1-2.vi.1966, 757 m, Z. Liepa), Cunninghams Gap, Queensland.
Introduction
This species is only known from two males from Cunninghams Gap and a single female from Coolangatta, both in SE Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
This species can be distinguished by the brown medial area of the clypeus, the yellow and scarlet subcostal area of the forewings and the elongate lower branch of the male pygophore processes (Webb 1983).
