Species Wiloatma bifurcata Webb, 1983

Introduction

This species shows some variation from other species of the genus but was included in Wiloatma on the basis of the third apical cell of the forewings being pedunculate, the lora strongly swollen and the clypellus blackish brown. It is found in SE Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

This species differs from other species in the genus in having a different setal formulaa at the apex of the hind femur (2+0), the veins of the forewings scarlet, the male pygophore without posterior processes and the ventrolateral arms of segment X bifurcate (Webb 1983).
