Syntype(s) BMNH 1919.9.18.734 ♀ adult, Sydney, NSW; ZMH 474 1 ♀ (MGH 14573), Sydney, NSW; ZMB 3472 1 ♀, Queensland, no precise locality; ZMH 474 1 ♀ 1 juv. (MG no. 14573; misidentification: Framenau & Vink (2001) list these syntypes as V. hickmani), Rockhampton; MHNT undetermined (not examined by Framenau & Vink (2001), but they suggest it is most likely to be V. hickmani from this location), Brisbane; whereabouts unknown (Bradley's collection considered lost), NSW, Sydney and Pittwater
Comment: Framenau & Vink (2001) list ♂ and ♀ syntypes in the Macleay Museum, Sydney (Bradley's collection). However, Framenau (2005) reviewed the status of wolf spider type specimens from Bradley's collection and considered all to be lost. The specimens in MMUS are unikely to be syntype material.Secondary source:
