Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

 

Diagnosis

Length 1.2-1.3 mm. Head and pronotum lightly punctulate; head with frontal rostrum one-third head width; antennomeres II as large as I, antennomeres III-VIII similar in width and length, strongly transverse, antennomeres IX wider and appressed to X, antennomeres X half as long as XI, clubs formed by apical two antennomeres. Pronotum with width of median foveal impression one-third pronotal width. Each elytron with two basal foveae. Male eyes with about 35 facets; with tenth antennomeres enlarged, trapezoidal in dorsal view, longest on anterior margin. Female eyes with about 35 facets; with tenth antennomeres transverse, symmetric.
