Introduction

This species was recorded from many localities across eastern Queensland and New South Wales by Donaldson (1991) who also synonymised T. hamadryas which he recognised as being the female of T. dryas. Donaldson (1991) also pointed out he was unable to locate specimens from Bundaberg and Kuranda which were included as part of the type distribution by Kirkaldy (1907).
