Diagnosis
Head with 3 antennomeres, antennomeres I-II quite short, antennomeres III as long as head or longer; vertexal foveae small and punctiform. Pronotum with shallow median antebasal impression or fovea. Elytra typically lacking foveae at bases. Abdomen with visible tergites 1-3 (IV-VI) fused into tergal plate, abdomen basally constricted.
