Diagnosis

Head rectangular; frontal rostrum lacking. Pronotum with distinct lateral longitudinal sulci, disc convex [except near apex for some males]; antebasal and both pairs of basolateral foveae present, lacking antebasal tubercles. Elytra with 2 basal foveae, discal stria present. Metasternum lacking preapical fovea. Lateral margins of tergites 2-4 (V-VII) with basolateral fovea often partially concealed by preceding tergites; visible tergite 1 (IV) with only short inner marginal carinae at base, 2-3 (V-VI) lacking marginal carinae.
