Ecological Descriptors

Adult: coral reef, ectoparasitic.

Diagnosis

The diagnosis of this species has been obviously hampered by the fact that only a single specimen was available for examination and that the specimen was not ovigerous. A single diagnostic feature sufficed to place this species in a new taxon: the fact that the 'arms' were devoid of fimbriate processes.
