Continental shelf, continental slope, coral reef, mud bottom, rock reef, sublittoral.

Extra Ecological Information

Intertidal to 840 m depth, undersides of rocks and boulders, in dead coral, mussels, oysters, polynoids and nereids often found within the dense concentrations of robust tubes created by this species.
