Introduction
Was considered a subfamily of Terebellidae before being raised to family level by Nogueira et al. (2013). Subsequent genetic analyses conducted by Stiller et al. (2020) shows that the group falls well within the Terebellidae, and it has since been reinstated as a subfamily.
