Introduction

Slightly smaller and paler than other species in the genus, this species is only known from Mittagong, SW of Sydney, New South Wales.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Allied to T. (N.) hebe but smaller and paler. Head nearly as long as the rest of the body. Pale greenish grey, disk of vertex (on either side of the central keel) and vertex apically blackish brown. Scutellum pale brownish testaceous with a central ivory white line, which does not quite reach the ivory white posterior angle. Tegmina hyaline, colorless, veins and stigma pale brown, an apical smudge similar to that in T. (N.) hebe, but paler. Some of the short transverse veins in the apical part of the tegmen narrowly ivory white. Length: 8.5–9 mm. (Kirkaldy 1906)
