This nicely marked caramel brown species is only known from the northern parts of the Northern Territory.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Straminaceous. Face straminaceous, partly dark brown in female. Pronotum and scutellum pale straminaceous, sometimes in female with a distinctive pattern of longitudinal coffee-coloured markings. Tegmen pale hyaline brown; veins pale or dark brown. Male genitalia: pygophore parallel-sided, apically rounded; aedeagus club-shaped with an anterior and a posterior spine. Xth segment with a pair of hook-shaped processes arising from the base. Length ♂ 6.8 mm, ♀ 7.8 mm (Evans 1981)
