Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus foecunda Schauer, 1844 [MYRTACEAE] Fremantle Mallee, Narrow-Leaved Red Mallee (on flowers); Eucalyptus uncinata Turcz. [MYRTACEAE] Hook-leaved Mallee (on flowers); Eucalyptus cylindriflora Maiden & Blakely [MYRTACEAE] White Mallee (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Eucalyptus foecunda Schauer, 1844 [MYRTACEAE] Fremantle Mallee, Narrow-Leaved Red Mallee; Eucalyptus oleosa F.Muell. ex. Miq. [MYRTACEAE] Giant Mallee; Eucalyptus uncinata Turcz. [MYRTACEAE] Hook-leaved Mallee; Eucalyptus gracilis F.Muell., 1855 [MYRTACEAE] Red Mallee, Yorrell).
