Holotype SAMA ♂ (coll.: H. Hardcastle), 'Cannamilla' [= Cunnamulla], Queensland.
Introduction
This elongate, brown species is widespread across Australia from SE Queensland to Western Australia although it has not been recorded in New South Wales.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Head pale yellow with yellow markings on the frons, the vertex mottled with brown; eyes brown mottled with black. Pronotum grey mottled with brown; lateral angles behind the eyes pale yellow marked with an irregular brown pattern. Scutellum pale yellow with two dark brown lateral longitudinal markings. Tegmen hyaline, colourless; veins with several incomplete crossveins, especially on the anal area. Thorax and abdomen, ventral surface, pale yellowish brown. Hind tibiae with the basal spurs of one row of spines large and pointed, the intervening spines few and small (Evans 1937).
